Certificación Telecom is the Chilean company that handles SUBTEL regulatory compliance for wireless devices. We publish the compliance page and the QR code required by Resolution 737, we file the formal certification for the medical devices that still need one, and we act as local representative in Chile for manufacturers with no Chilean entity. We have worked in this since 2004 and have managed +1,500 devices for +200 companies.
Service operated by Faradio SpA · Santiago, Chile · we work in Spanish and English.

Since that date four different regimes coexist, and most devices stopped being certified. This is the full picture; we handle the first two.
| Type of device | Regime in force | What is required |
|---|---|---|
| WiFi, Bluetooth, Zigbee, RFID, IoT, remote controls, wireless microphones, vehicle radar (literales a, b, c, d, e, f, i, j, k) | Self-declaration with a QR code | Test report, a published compliance page and a QR code on the packaging. There is no filing with SUBTEL. |
| Medical devices: MICS implants, medical data acquisition and other medical equipment (literales g and h) | Formal SUBTEL certification | A certificate issued by SUBTEL before selling or transferring the device. |
| Devices holding an Oficio de Certificación whose request was filed on or before 21 February 2026 | Literal D (transition) | Publishing the Oficio is enough: it replaces sections A, B and C. |
| Cellphones, 4G/5G devices and anything registered by IMEI | Multibanda / SAE homologation | A separate regime run by other bodies. We do not handle it. |
Se estima procedente reservar el trámite de certificación solamente para equipos de alcance reducido destinados a aplicaciones médicas.
It is deemed appropriate to reserve the certification procedure only for short-range devices intended for medical applications. (Unofficial translation.)
This is why our name can mislead: for most of the years we have been operating, all of these devices were certified, and the word described the service well. Since Resolution 737, what we handle for nearly every device is self-declared compliance, not a certification.
Compliance page and QR code for WiFi, Bluetooth, Zigbee, RFID and IoT devices. The regime that applies to almost every wireless device.

I needed a SUBTEL compliance page for my products and found this website. Everything was set and done within 48 hours of reaching out through their website. Great service!
Brand, model and technology are enough for us to tell you which regime applies and whether you actually need to hire us.
We read it against the standard and extract the required technical data. If you do not have it and the device has an FCC ID, we can usually retrieve it ourselves.
Two business days from the moment we receive the test reports. You get the QR code ready to print on the packaging.
The page stays hosted permanently, with no recurring cost. If SUBTEL changes the required format, we update it.
Tell us the brand, model and technology. We will tell you which regime applies, what you need to gather and what it costs, with no commitment.
