Should the QR code go on the product or the packaging?

Per Resolution 2219, the QR can be placed on the outer packaging (priority 1), directly on the device (priority 2), or in included documentation (priority 3). The flexibility applies as long as the consumer can access the QR before or during use.

Can I use any QR code generator?

Yes, as long as the generated QR uses Level H error correction (30%) and meets the minimum 1 cm × 1 cm size. This tool generates QR codes with those parameters by default.

Must the QR target page be in Spanish?

Yes. Resolution 737 requires the compliance page to be in Spanish. It may have additional versions in other languages, but the Spanish version is mandatory.

What QR size should I print?

The official minimum is 1 cm × 1 cm, but 2 cm × 2 cm is recommended for more reliable scanning. Print at 300 DPI or higher for sharpness.

What must the target page contain?

The QR code must link to a Spanish-language page with three mandatory sections per Resolution 737:

Section A — Commercial information

Publication date, product name, manufacturer, importer or representative in Chile, address, email, and website.

Section B — Technical characteristics

Device type, brand, model, technology, operating frequencies, antenna gain, EIRP, modules, and Test Report (PDF).

Section C — Declaration of conformity

Verbatim declaration text per the official Resolution 737 format.
